Champagne Day Tours from Paris (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent comparison site and a GetYourGuide affiliate. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.
Important: who processes your booking
Booking data — your name, payment details and contact information — is collected and processed by GetYourGuide, not by this website. When you select a date and book, you leave this site and provide your information directly to GetYourGuide under their terms and privacy policy.

We never see, store or process payment details, booking references, passport or ID numbers, or precise location data.
What this website collects
This site is deliberately minimal. It runs no analytics platform of its own, sets no advertising cookies, and has no login, account or newsletter system.
- GetYourGuide booking widgets. The availability calendars and tour widgets embedded on our pages are loaded from GetYourGuide. Their script may set cookies or local storage in your browser to attribute a booking to this site (affiliate attribution) and to remember your currency and locale. That processing is governed by GetYourGuide’s privacy policy, linked above.
- Email. If you email us, we hold your address and message only for as long as it takes to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Web server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for security and reliability purposes.
How we use it
Only to answer emails you send us, to keep the site working, and to receive affiliate commission when a booking originates here. We do not sell, rent or share personal data.
Cookies
We set no cookies ourselves. Cookies and local storage that appear while you browse come from the embedded GetYourGuide widgets. You can block or clear them in your browser settings; blocking them may stop the availability calendars from loading.
Third-party services
- GetYourGuide — processes all bookings and serves the embedded widgets. Privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — typefaces are requested from Google’s font CDN, which receives your IP address as part of that request. Privacy policy.
Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to access your personal data, correct it, request its deletion, object to processing, and receive it in a portable form.
For booking data: contact GetYourGuide customer service, quoting your booking reference.

Data retention
- Email correspondence: kept for up to two years, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Server logs: retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule, typically weeks rather than years.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Bookings must be made by adults, and several of the tours listed here set their own minimum age of 16 or 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
